Mercury music prize winner "Badly Drawn Boy" has been confirmed to headline the Dumfriesshire based Eden festival.
The alternative singer songwriter is famed for his laid back stage presence and he is often seen mingling with his audiences prior to performing.
Festival media officer Sid Ambrose remarked "He has been a perennial favourite on the gig circuit for a number of years, his down to earth style really connects with audiences and as such he is an ideal booking for Eden."
Badly Drawn Boy will join over 230 acts that have been handpicked to appear at the third Eden gathering.
Billed as a boutique music and arts festival, Eden aims to facilitate a three day celebration of music, dance, culture and creativity.
Taking place at Raehills Meadows between Dumfries and Moffat the festival will run from the 15th to the 17th June.
Early bird adult weekend tickets are priced at £69.00.
