Band of Skulls end an amazing 18-month run by announcing details of a London Forum show in October. The show will be preceded by the release of a deluxe version of their debut album and a new single, Fires.
The band have gone from selling out the 100 Club in London in February to a sold-out Electric Ballroom gig in May to announcing the Forum show, which will take place on Thursday 7th October.
Tickets for the Forum show go on general sale at 9am on Friday 21st May priced at £14 and will be available via www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
They have also announced details of the re-release of their debut album, Baby Darling Doll Faced Honey, on Monday 20th September 2010. Originally released last September, the deluxe version comes with new artwork and features the following extra tracks: Light Of The Morning (Live from the Troubadour), I Know What I Am (XFM Session), Fires (XFM Session), Blood (XFM Session) & Fire (Dimbleby & Capper mix).
The band will also release a new single, Fires, on September 13th.
Beginning with an iTunes single in the week last April for I Know What I Am, which was downloaded by over 500,000 people, the band have gone from strength to strength on both sides of the Atlantic.
In the US recent months have seen them contribute numerous film synchs, make a high profile TV appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and provide the music to the latest Ford Mustang advert (they also currently provide the music to a Swatch ad across Europe).
The band will also be making a number of festival appearances over the summer.
