Basement Jaxx are the first act to announce their appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Speaking to Radio One Felix joked that the dance duo were making their move into stadium rock with an enhanced full live-band experience.
"We've got a drummer and Simon plays guitar in most of the set and there's more vocalists, so it's less of a show and more of a live band musical experience," he said.
"And live visually it's taking things to the next level as well. We're at the front of the stage doing a bit of a guitar solo in a snakeskin thong, it's really raw."
The pair will embark upon a UK tour after they return from testing out the new live format at Australian rock festival Big Day Out.
