Basement Jaxx have caused a stir with their latest video, which shows a woman impersonating Queen Elizabeth II groping a lap dancer.
The promo to upcoming single 'U Don't Know Me' features a look-a-like for the monarch fighting, drinking and running from the police during a night out in Soho, London.
MTV have refused to screen the video during the day and will only broadcast it after the 7pm watershed.
A spokeswoman for the channel said that they “had to adhere to Ofcom regulationsâ€.
According to BBC News, she added that although strict regulations mean that MTV cannot show the clip during the day, “"it's a great video, it's a great track and we plan on giving it heavy rotation in our evening schedules".
Basement Jaxx will release 'U Don't Know Me' on June 13.
