BASEMENT JAXX will headline the "dance day" of this year's Wireless Festival.
The duo will play the main stage at the festival on July 4 in Hyde Park following a set by London rapper Dizzee Rascal.
The Streets have also been confirmed as another headliner on the day and will play the second stage.
Basement Jaxx, comprising of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, headlined the very first Wireless in 2005, the same summer that their million selling 'Singles' album hit number one.
They said: "Frank Sinatra once said "It's very nice to go traveling but it's so much nicer to come home" and he was right.
"It's going to be a mad summer for us, playing in all four corners of the world, but we are really looking forward to coming back to the very heart of London and playing at Wireless."
Skinner echoed those sentiments and said he couldn't wait for July.
He said: "I am excited about returning to the site of my favourite ever gig - when Daft Punk played at Wireless 2007. This year we will be performing just before Basement Jaxx who I remember introduced me to my French idols on that hot Hyde Park evening two years ago.
"Hyde Park will hopefully be as hot this year and someone else will enjoy their favourite ever gig."
And Dizzee Rascal, who worked with Basement Jaxx on 2003's 'Lucky Star' from their 'Kish Kash' album, added: "I'm really excited about it, to be doing something so big in my hometown - its going to be a good one".
Wireless 2008, promoter Steve Homer said he was is looking forward to this amazing line-up.
He said: "Basement Jaxx was where Wireless' reputation for outstanding dance line-ups on the Saturday began and they are very much a significant part of the history of the event.
"It's a pleasure to welcome them back for what I am sure will be another outstanding performance and to have the likes of Dizzee Rascal and The Streets also on the bill demonstrates the strength of Wireless after five incredible years."
Tickets go on sale from 9am this coming Wednesday (February 18) with a limited number of Early Bird tickets costing £40.
