Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley gets together UK's hottest new acts for eight acoustic gigs in aid of Mencap
Bat For Lashes, The Kooks, Noel Gallagher, Guillemots, Lilly Allen and Amy Winehouse are just some of the highlights of Little Noise Sessions, Acoustic at the Union. The eight acoustic gigs are in aid of UK learning disability charity Mencap.
The gigs are being curated by Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley who has very personal reasons for supporting Mencap as her sister Frances has a learning disability.
The series of gigs will take place from Sunday 19 November to Monday 27 November 2006 at Islington's Union Chapel. The venue is noted for its ambience and acoustics and has an intimate capacity of 500.
