Ben Folds, Damian Kulash from OK Go, Amanda Palmer and her husband Neil Gaiman plan to create eight songs in eight hours.
The quartet are joining forces for a furious collaboration where they will write and record eight songs in eight hours on April 25.
The AV Club reports that this experiment will take place as part of a Rethink Music conference, where Kulash said they're working out whether an album process could be 'reduced to a single day'.
The songs will be released through Bandcamp and all the proceeds from any sales will go to charity.
Thankfully they have a head start, since obviously Gaiman and Palmer are married, and Palmer has previously worked with Folds on her solo album.
