Beyonce put the Jay Z cheating rumours to rest by dedicating a song to her "beautiful husband" during her tour opening show in Miami, Florida.
The pop superstar reignited rumours her husband of eight years had been unfaithful when she released new album Lemonade, which featured lyrics detailing a broken marriage, on Saturday (23Apr16).
However, the pair put on a united front ahead of the opening of the Formation World Tour in Miami on Wednesday night (27Apr16) as Jay Z was spotted at rehearsals and he later watched Beyonce perform her hits from the audience.
Beyonce finally put the rumours to rest and publicly declared her love for Jay Z and their four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy as she closed the show with Halo.
"I want to dedicate this song to my family, thank you guys for supporting me. I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband, I love you so much," she told the crowd at Marlins Park. "I love you so much. Blue, I love you so much."
Beyonce also dedicated the night to Prince by saying, "God, thank you for speaking through this beautiful artist that inspired all of us."
Earlier in the show, she paid tribute to the late icon, who passed away on 21 April (16), aged 57, by playing Purple Rain over the speakers during the interlude between sets. The onstage screens also turned purple.
Beyonce played many songs from Lemonade and her self-titled album plus classic hits Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It), Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl and Destiny's Child tracks Survivor and Bootylicious.
Most notably she sung new track Sorry, which includes the now-famous line "Becky with the good hair", a rumoured reference to the other woman Jay Z cheated on her with.
Beyonce fans pointed the finger at fashion designer Rachel Roy and Jay Z's protege Rita Ora, and they have both publicly denied being Becky.
The U.S. leg of the Formation World Tour continues in Tampa, Florida on Friday (29Apr16) and runs until June (16).
