Beyoncé Knowles is reportedly taking the stage with pal Chris Martin when his band Coldplay performs at the Super Bowl halftime show in February (16).
The British rockers will be headlining the coveted gig at the annual football game in Santa Clara, California on 7 February (16), and sources confirm to Entertainment Tonight they will be joined by R&B star Beyoncé for the show.
Coldplay is expected to bring the Crazy In Love singer out for a live rendition of Hymn for the Weekend, which features vocals from Beyoncé and is a track on their latest album, A Head Full of Dreams.
This won't be Beyoncé's first time at the Super Bowl - in 2013, she headlined her own halftime show, which featured a surprise appearance from her Destiny's Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Martin has previously revealed Coldplay members are both elated and nervous to be performing at the sporting event.
"We are so excited and honoured and thrilled to be playing the halftime show," he said in a video released by Super Bowl sponsors.
"It's going to be wonderful and I hope we see you there.
"This is the greatest moment in our band's life. We are going to give it everything we have."
