The 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' actress – who shot to fame when she released the single 'Because We Want To' aged just 15 in 1998 – admits it would be her idea of "heaven" to combine singing with acting, but only if she could do the musical parts in advance.
She said: "A musical film is my idea of heaven. You can pre-record, you don't have to sing live. Singing live was the bit I hated the most. I never felt like a confident singer.
"I would really love to do a musical, I don't know in what capacity but something funny."
Despite her ambition, the 27-year-old star – who has an 18-month-old son Winston with husband Laurence Fox – insists she will never re-launch her singing career.
She added to Britain's Glamour magazine: "I don't play my songs to anyone. It's one of those things I lock in a box and it's very deep in my stomach.
"There's not enough money in the world to get me singing 'Because We Want To' again. I wouldn't do it. I think Beyonce Knowles got a couple of million for a private show but I would be happy to turn it down."
