Following a performance on Good Morning America, the Black Eyed Peas announced a new album is in the pipes.
The megastar group hit Good Morning America for the TV shows Summer Concert Series, playing 'I Gotta Feeling' and 'Boom Boom Pow'.
They then noted that they would be releasing a follow-up to their 2009, bazillion-times platinum The E.N.D. before the end of 2010.
Of course, The E.N.D. was never a final note, but merely an acronym for 'The Energy Never Dies'.
They announced ominously that the title of the new album would be The Beginning. There's no word on whether that's a torturous anagram for anything just yet.
Will.i.am said that The Beginning "symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts, fresh new perspective."
He said the album was almost done and is scheduled for release before the end of 2010.
