Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce Knowles and N.E.R.D. are to perform at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The event - which will also feature performances from ZZ Top, Simple Minds, Chinese singer Jacky Cheung, Taiwanese hip-hop band Da Mouth and Taiwanese pop band Sodagreen - is to be the first of eight F1 Rocks concerts planned by Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone to tie in with races across the season.
The billionaire said: "It's exciting and something I have been thinking about for a long while.
"Drivers are rock stars. The slight difference is they risk their lives. Musicians love racing and drivers love music.
"Singapore couldn't be a better place to launch F1 Rocks. They're well, well ahead of anyone else in the world in my opinion."
As well as the concerts - which will be screened worldwide across 188 countries - there will also be a host of famous names and racing stars appearing, and a behind-the-scenes show will also be broadcast.
The first event will take place on the days of September 24-26 at Fort Canning Park, in Singapore.
The Singapore Grand Prix takes place on September 27.
