Talking about the fashion industry, the 23-year-old said: 'It's a world that inspires and excites me.'
She added to Australia's Daily Telegraph: 'Some people don't love clothes - they hire stylists and leave it to them. I've never hired one and I don't plan to.'
Lively is good friends with some big names in the fashion world, including Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour, and says she's fascinated by how powerful US Vogue editor Wintour is.
She said: 'She'll say, 'Wear this,' and next thing you know, it's all over the runways.'
