Blake Shelton thinks Adam Levine should "be drunk all the time".
The Voice judge gets annoyed at his fellow co-star's healthy ways.
He doesn't understand why the Maroon 5 singer isn't constantly intoxicated like the rocker stereotype suggests he should be.
"I get frustrated with Adam because, to me, rock stars are supposed to be drunk all the time. But he's very healthy," Blake told Men's Journal. "He takes care of himself. And it drives me crazy, because I want him to be more like me. Drunk all the time."
The country crooner also discussed his relationship with wife Miranda Lambert in the cover interview.
He admitted that he tries not to push her buttons at the risk of feeling her wrath.
"I don't give her too much s**t, that's like poking a bear," he said. "She's as lovable as can be – until you cross her. She'll go from zero to 100 real quick.
"If Miranda has an inkling you're saying something hardass to her, it's gonna be a problem."
The Honey Bee vocalist was triumphant in his third season of America's NBC network talent show, as Blake's protégé Danielle Bradbery won the competition.
Blake believes his humble mentoring approach had a lot to do with their success.
"Sometimes I think they don't know who all of us are in the middle," he shared. "If there's one thing special about me, it's that I seem familiar. People feel like I live next door."
