Blake Shelton thinks cats are "sneaky".
The Voice USA panellist admits he doesn't have as much love for felines as he does for other types of animals.
Blake thinks these domestic pets are too untrustworthy for his liking.
"They're sneaky," he told People magazine. "To be fair, if they could send a Tweet, I'm sure they would say something bad about me."
Blake doesn't know why some people won't accept his view on the furry critters.
He believes his anti-cat policy is fine and he doesn't worry about what what critics say.
"I'm not too big on cats and sometimes I'll say something like that and people get so mad at me," Blake explained. "But the truth is, I don't care if they get mad."
The 37-year-old star and his fellow country singer wife Miranda Lambert celebrated their third wedding anniversary on May 14.
And Blake admits one of his favourite activities is to pass time with his other half at their family home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
"Our ideal day is actually nothing," he said. "She's really gotten into horseback riding. She's into English-style riding now. I still love farming and gardening and things like that in the summertime. We have fun when we're together at home, you know?"
The country music stars have reportedly been working on their own Bed & Breakfast for months.
And according to Life & Style magazine, it appears the establishment will officially open its doors to the public before the close of 2014.
"They should be done with it by the fall. They've been working nonstop on it," a source told the tabloid.
"The rooms are all done except for the furniture. Everyone in town is excited to see what it will look like when it's finally finished!"
