This weekend's Blink 182 Birmingham and Sheffield gigs were thrown into jeopardy this weekend when bassist Mark Hoppus had to raise medical attention for his son.
The punk-pop star's nine-year-old son Jack had to be treated backstage for vomiting and a shockingly high temperature at a steaming 104 degrees. The bassist’s son was taken to hospital for precaution and treated for his fever.
Known for his frantic and entertaining regular tweets, Mark Hoppus this time round tweeted some optimistic news about Jack ‘Sheffield rocked, my son is out of hospital, and today is a day off. Bring me all of the breakfasts.’
Blink 182 recently performed a spectacular London show at The O2. Read our review here.
