A film about the life of Bob Marley, which will be lifted from the autobiography of his widow, Rita Marley, looks set to go into production.
Rita Marley, who released 'No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley' in 2004, will also act as an executive producer on the project.
Rita also wants the reggae icon's daughter-in-law R&B singer Lauryn Hill will portray her onscreen.
The big-screen version "No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley," will chronicle the musician's childhood and their turbulent 15-year marriage through to his death from cancer in 1981.
"Lauryn would be ideal (to play me)," said Marley. "She sees my life as her life."
