Bobby Brown has accused Nick Gordon of harming his late daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Bobbi Kristina died aged 22 on 26 July (15), after battling for her life for six months after she was found face down in a bathtub at her home.
Since her passing, various claims have emerged about Bobbi's relationship with ex Nick, and her father has released a new statement reiterating his belief that Nick was responsible for somehow hurting his daughter.
"In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown and his name is Nick Gordon," Bobby said in a statement released by his lawyer Christopher Brown to Us Weekly.
"Mr. Gordon made headlines when he filed his Motion to Dismiss the lawsuit pending in Superior Court that seeks to hold him responsible for 40 Million Dollars in damages. However, the Motion was frivolous and instead of having it heard by the Court, he has chosen to withdraw the Motion, ending that matter so that he could avoid having to give his deposition which was scheduled for the day he withdrew the Motion. Mr. Gordon will now have to give his deposition under oath."
In August, Bobbi Kristina's estate administrator Bedelia C. Hargrove launched a $10 million lawsuit against Gordon, accusing him of providing her with a cocktail of drugs and dunking her head in the bathtub to induce drowning the night she entered a coma.
But Nick contended he is completely innocent of the civil accusations brought against him and moved to have the case dismissed completely.
Bobby's statement continues to allege that it was this action that has further implicated Nick as having something to do with Bobbi Kristina's passing.
"I am not shocked at the withdrawal, as we must keep in mind that Gordon filed a lawsuit to remove Bobby Brown as Bobbi Kristina's guardian, only to withdraw that lawsuit in DeKalb County Probate Court once he was served with a deposition notice," Christopher continued in the statement. "He could have pressed forward with that lawsuit and told us under oath what he believed happened to Bobbi Kristina, but he chose to go in another direction.
"I look forward to having the Court hear the evidence in the civil lawsuit and hopefully the criminal action very soon."
