Boney M singer Bobby Farrell died because his heart just gave out on him.
His agent John Seine told APF that the singer was feeling unwell the night before his death but still performed. Boney M was on tour in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
A hotel worker discovered Farrell's body in his hotel room on Thursday morning (December 30, 2010).
Bobby Farrell was the original male singer of Boney M and sang on the hits 'Rasputin', 'Ma Baker', 'Daddy Cool' and 'Rivers of Babylon'.
Boney M was the manufactured creation of German record producer Frank Farian. They became one of the most popular acts of the disco era. The Boney M catalogue has sold more than 60 million albums over the years.
