Billy Ray Cyrus recently filed for divorce from his wife Tish and reports have since surfaced that the Poison frontman was to blame for the marriage breakdown.
Us Weekly claimed Cyrus split from his wife when he found out about her fling with Michaels, who duetted with their daughter Miley earlier this year.
Michaels' rep said to Entertainment Tonight: 'The reports of my client having an affair with Tish are unfounded and a complete fabrication.
'He has been a close friend of the family for some time and has worked with Miley. It's unfortunate that the sad breakup of Billy Ray and Tish has to be further tainted with these lies being reported.'
