The pair, who have two daughters together, split between 2007 and 2009 but she said: 'All relationships have their ups and downs. When you're soul mates, you find your way back together.'
Asked if she would like to get married, she said: 'We've been together so long, it's like we're married, just no paper.'
Michaels gave Gibson a promise ring and she said: 'I've got the ring - I'm happy!'
