Poison frontman Bret Michaels remains in a critical but stable condition six days after a brain hemorrhage.
CNN is now reporting that the singer is conscious and talking but sedated and his speech is slurred.
Doctors are giving Michaels a better than good chance of a full recovery following his subarachnoid hemorrhage. He is expected to remain in hospital for up to a month.
Bret's father Wally Sychak told TV show Extra that his son is "improving" and that he is "able to converse properly".
While in hospital, Bret is currently being seen on TV in The Celebrity Apprentice. His project is this week's show was to create a Gym Class. With team partner Sharon Osbourne and WWE wrestler Maria Kanellis, their team Rock Solid developed a rock and roll workout based on Bret's rock and roll moves and the concert experience.
While they outperformed the other team they fell down on donations and lost the round.
It should have been the week Bret heard "you're fired" from Donald Trump. Instead, Trump didn't fire anyone this week and Bret kept his job.
While he recovers he hospital, he will be able to watch himself on TV like the rest of the world in The Celebrity Apprentice.
