Bret Michaels is the winner of the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Bret won $250,000 for his charity, the American Diabetes Association, beating actress Holly Robinson-Peete, who was competing for the HollyRod Foundation, her husband's charity helping autism patients.
For Bret, it has been a frightful three months. Since the show finished taping late last year, Bret has had an emergency appendix operation, then four weeks later suffered a brain hemorrhage and then one week ago, a minor stroke.
The Poison singer appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show last week and vowed that if he was going to go out, then he was going to go out like a rock star. He appeared on the live finale of The Celebrity Apprentice tonight. His doctor said that by appearing he was not creating any great risk.
The Celebrity Apprentice also features music biz identities Sharon Osbourne and Cyndi Lauper as well as sports stars, entertainment stars and one politician.
