Brian Eno will release a new, 12-part 75-minute solo album in November.
Eno has been busy enough lately, with collaborative albums Small Craft on a Milk Sea with Jon Hopkins and Leo Abrahams in 2010 and Drums Between The Bells and Panic Of Looking with Rick Holland last year.
Now he's lining up his first proper solo album since 2005's Another Day On Earth, the 12-part, 75-minute composition LUX, evolved by a work of his currently "housed" at the Great Gallery of the Palace of Venaria in Turin, Italy.
It'll be available on double-vinyl, CD, and digitally via Warp Records on November 9.
