Bruno Mars has joked his mom makes "cereal and pop tarts" for Christmas.
The 27-year-old star has been busy promoting upcoming album Unorthodox Jukebox, which is due out later this month.
The Marry You singer is currently spending time in the UK, but is used to sunnier climates.
Bruno was born and raised in Hawaii and revealed to BBC Radio 1 he would be returning home for the festive season, where his mother will spoil him with "cereal and pop tarts".
"She throws it down on the grill," he laughed.
Bruno is one of six children but joked it feels more like he has sixteen siblings, as he has so many Christmas presents to buy.
The singer proceeded to explain he was already feeling "Christmassy", which he later proved by performing a live rendition of popular festive carol Silent Night.
Bruno also went on to discuss the imminent release of his album on December 11.
His last musical offering was Doo-Wops & Hooligans in 2010, and he promises his new collection of songs will be him but "two years on".
"[I'm] so excited, I just want to perform the new songs," he said.
As a taste of things to come, Bruno has made his album available to stream online, including hit Locked Out of Heaven and upcoming single Moonshine.
