Bruno Mars fans will get a double-shot of love next week when the singer drops in twice to MTV, where he'll perform and talk about songs from his upcoming Unorthodox Jukebox album during a year-end celebration of all things great in 2012.
Mars will play his single "Locked out of Heaven" on "MTV First: Bruno Mars," going down at 7:55 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 11. The next day, Bruno will take the mic again as part of "The Big & Best of 2012: A Year End Celebration Presented by T-Mobile", a blow-out celebration across MTV.com, VH1.com, CMT.com and ComedyCentral.com on 12/12/12. For the stream, Mars will treat fans to his new single, "Young Girls," then sit down with MTV's Sway Calloway for an interview during the eight-hour live stream, which kicks off at noon ET.
"MTV has supported me from the very beginning," Mars said in a statement on Thursday (December 6). "I'm looking forward to celebrating the album release and performing these new songs for my fans."
The live stream will also include the final showdown in MTV's "Last Fans Standing" competition, pitting the fan armies of 16 of today's biggest stars, from Rihanna to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, One Direction, The Wanted, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber against each other in a duel to for the crown of Best Fans of the Year. Sharing is under way on MTV's Facebook page now, so be sure to help rack up points for your army before this round ends on December 12.
