Cage The Elephant's latest single 'Come A Little Closer' remains No.1 on the Alternative Radio Chart in the US for the 9th consecutive week.
The accompanying video, featuring extensive original artwork by frontman Matt Shultz, along with live footage of the track has been viewed over one million times on youtube. 'Come A Little Closer' premiered on VEVO and is available to watch below.
Taken from their forthcoming album 'Melophobia' (out 10th February), 'Come A Little Closer' is the band's fourth No.1 single in the US, following in the footsteps of 2010's 'Back Against The Wall', 'In One Ear' and 'Shake Me Down' in 2011.
The band have just confirmed hotly-tipped New York garage band Drowners as special guests at their Electric Ballroom show on 17th February. Drowners, whose debut album will be released on 27th January, will also support Cage The Elephant on their European dates in February. As previously announced, Cage The Elephant will tour as special guests on Foals' sold-out UK tour in February. The band's previous UK appearance was a sold-out show at The Forum, London in 2011.
