Carly Rae Jepsen was not only named Choice Breakout Artist on Sunday night, but the first-time Teen Choice Awards winner also performed her inescapable summer jam "Call Me Maybe" at the awards show.
While the Bieber-approved singer performed the tune in a lavender romper, jumping around the stage, a video featuring some of the night's guests singing the song played in the background, as well as various fan-made viral videos handpicked to prove just how truly big the song has become in 2012.
It seemed like everyone in the audience knew every word to the song that helped make the Canadian poptress a household name. Her performance came at the end of the show, after fellow A-listers No Doubt, Flo Rida (with Sia) and Justin Bieber took the stage with their own summer-jam contenders. But given how much love "Call Me Maybe" was getting from the star-filled audience, they may have a hard time competing.
The performance comes as Carly continues her pop-music domination. The chart-topping singer is performing at various shows this summer before hitting the road with Bieber in the fall for his Believe Tour. She will also drop the video for her other catchy summer tune, Owl City's "Good Time."
Jepsen will drop her debut album this fall. In addition to "Call Me Maybe" and "Good Time," the debut release will also feature collaborations with her boss Bieber, Redfoo from LMFAO and Fun. guitarist, Jack Antonoff.
