Catherine Zeta-Jones and her family "are musically well-rounded."
The Rock of Ages actress has son Dylan and daughter Carys with husband Michael Douglas.
Catherine and her brood are hugely interested in a broad range of music and bond through the songs they share with one another.
"Both of my children are into music," Catherine told People magazine. "They keep me informed of the music of right now. And they have a retro sense of music because we play '80s songs on Sirius all the time. And '60s. They're musically well-rounded."
The 1980s are of particular interest to Catherine's children.
"They sing Hit Me With Your Best Shot [by Pat Benatar] around the house," she smiled. "My daughter said, 'Will you teach me the dance [from the movie]?' So I'm going to teach her the dance."
Catherine, who hails from Wales, is most fond of one movement in particular from that era.
"I was much more of a New Romantics fan," she shared. "I must say I had big hair. It was so big, if I sat in the front row of a Clash show, people behind me couldn't see."
