In fact, he told a radio interviewer Monday, he did go back to the set of his hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, only to find out that the entire production had been halted until the end of the month while he undergoes his rehab treatment.
'They said 'You get ready, and we'll get ready,' and I got ready and went back, and nobody was there,' Sheen, 45, said on the Dan Patrick Show. 'I'm here, and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it.'
'I heal really quickly,' Sheen said, 'but I also unravel pretty quickly. So, get me right now, guys!'
Warner Bros executives cancelled filming of the show after Sheen checked into hospital last month following a two-day drink and drugs binge.
It was but one of many excessive episodes in the life of television's top-paid actor, who is said to earn some 28 million dollars a year. Following the incident, Sheen said he would undergo a month-long rehab course at home.
