The former Two and a Half Men actor, who was fired from the show and replaced by Ashton Kutcher, is in talks for a new TV sitcom that could debut as early as January 2012.
According to US gossip website TMZ, the show is being 'written specifically around Charlie' and would go straight to series without featuring a pilot episode.
Although the broadcast network of the sitcom has not been named, representatives for the 45-year-old are said to be in 'deep negotiations' and the deal could be done by the end of the week.
