Charlie Sheen could be set to make a sensational return to television, with news emerging that a major network will air a show written specifically for the troubled actor.
Sheen was fired earlier this year from Two and a Half Men following a series of fights with show creator Chuck Lorre, which led him to embark on a turbulent one-man our of US cities, which earned him mixed reviews.
However, it now seems that another network is willing to take a chance on him, with TMZ.com reporting that the show will go straight into the schedules next January, circumventing the traditional pilot episode.
Meanwhile, Sheen's ex-wife, Denise Richards, is poised to release a tell-all book about their troubled relationship on July 11.
