Sheen begins his 'Violent Torpedo of Truth' tour later this week and will make a return to New York, where he infamously trashed a hotel suite, on April 8.
The former Two and a Half Men star has already been told he is not welcome back at the Plaza hotel, and is now also barred from the famed Waldorf-Astoria and Trump Soho, according to the New York Post.
'Many of the big New York hotels don't want the drama. He is now looking at renting a private residence,' an insider told the Post.
Another person close to Sheen said: 'The real issue is getting a hotel that allows smoking. He has to be able to smoke.
'It is hard to find a place that will accommodate him, plus his entourage that will be more than 30, including the lighting people and of course the goddesses.'
Sheen is also facing bad news about ticket sales for his tour, which has been called a 'sell-out.'
It has been claimed that most of the tickets for the tour were actually snapped up by people who are now trying to re-sell them on the secondary market, with many now available at cut-price, the Post claims.
