US rapper Childish Gambino has publicly criticized his record label, asking for someone to buy him out of his contract.
Taking to Twitter to vent his anger, the rapper (real name Donald Glover) went on an lengthy rant about his label Glassnote Records. He stated that they had lied to him and that his video for single 'Sweatpants', the latest to be taken from his Because The Internet album, hadn't been handled correctly. He also stated that he wasn't happy with the magaement of his Deep Web Tour blog.

so this sweatpants video and blog was important to us.
and it wasnt handled correctly.
we were told a lot of things were gonna happen and they were all lies. so im done. someone buy me out of this contract.
a lot of people came around after our first week sales. all those people are welcome now. def jam, atlantic, whatever.
i dont like record companies. but im not having another project go through this.
i said "i know how the internet works tho" my record company laughed on the phone and said "oh really?"

i know im not loud, or outrageous, or a white girl with a big ass, but im fuckin honest.

It's not the first time that Glover has hit out at his label, tweeting in November that he was unhappy with the release date of one of his tracks. He wrote: "I'm trying to create one of the more imaginative rollouts, and other people's lust for money and impatience is ruining it."
