Chris Martin looks to Lily Allen for love advice

Chris Martin has reportedly been taking love life advice from Lily Allen.

The Coldplay rocker split from his wife of ten years, Gwyneth Paltrow, earlier this year and then moved on with Jennifer Lawrence, 24. They split last month, with various reports now claiming they may still be trying to work things out, but Chris, 37, apparently felt the need to talk to someone about his personal life.

He and Lily were both at Kate Hudson's recent Halloween party in Los Angeles, where they bonded.

"They've known each other for years - and while they're both parents who've been through tricky times with their relationships, Lily has also been asking Chris for advice on her possible move to LA next year. Lily wants to launch herself in the US market, but knows it won't be easy and Chris has offered to introduce her to his music contacts there," an insider told British magazine Closer.

Chris and Lily were seen leaving the bash together last month, although neither wanted to be photographed. They both covered their faces as Chris dove them away in his vehicle.

If things don't work out between the Coldplay star and Hunger Games actress, it seems all is not lost for Chris. After his marriage breakdown he was linked to Alexa Chung, although their romance was never confirmed. Apparently she would like to see if they could make things work, so is trying to find out the status of his relationship.

"She thinks there could be a chance to start something up and wants to get in touch with Chris. Things didn't go anywhere before, as he felt it was disrespectful to Gwyneth to start dating so soon after their marriage had ended," the insider said.
