Counting Crows headline O2 Wireless Festival

Sunday at this year's O2 Wireless Festival sees one of the world's biggest bands close the Main Stage.

COUNTING CROWS are a global phenomenon with a host of multiple platinum albums and Top 10 chart placings worldwide.

From initial hit single, 'Mr.Jones' to 2005's 'Accidentally In Love' from the Shrek 2 soundtrack which saw the Californian band perform at the Academy Awards, Counting Crows have been a huge presence in the music world. New album, 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning' (due for release on 24th March) sees the band split their musical personality with the rock 'Saturday Morning' half produced by Gil Norton (of Pixies and Foo Fighters fame) whilst the more acoustic 'Sunday Morning' sees Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron and Wine) at the desk.

This show, the band's ONLY UK HEADLINE FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE will be a chance for fans to hear those new tracks alongside the classics that have made COUNTING CROWS one of the world's favourite bands. O2 Wireless Festival is back for its fourth year in the unique location of London's Hyde Park. Over four days and four stages every day, the festival will see the biggest names across the worlds of rock, pop, dance and all points in between play alongside the best up and coming new acts at a festival unlike any other in the UK calendar. Counting Crows headline performance is the second to be announced for this year's O2 Wireless Festival following the confirmation of Fatboy Slim for Saturday 5th July.
