To celebrate his current standing in Suffolk, as its leading icon no less, Cradle of Filth frontman Dani Filth has bagged himself a title and will now be addressed as; Lord Filth
Cradle Of Filth have just released their highly anticipated new album 'Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa'see the 5* review in music-news.com and our interview with Lord Dani himnself) and with Dani streets ahead in the Suffolk Icons Poll, the rest of the band thought it was time his standing in the community was reflected, and have presented him with his title. Which, he intends to use to its fullest:
''m looking into what my title allows, whether that's driving a flock of sheep through the town centre on a bank holiday or the keys to every inn and wine cellar in the county. I've also been looking into a nice new country pile, the parties will be immense, the kind Lord Byron would throw if he had access to some Slayer albums. Im fully expecting it to help get me a better table when I eat out too, especially in the US. Ultimately this is a great opportunity to mess with people's perceptions.'
