Cute Is What We Aim For have cancelled their upcoming Japan dates citing "internal issues".
The power-pop band were due to make their debut this summer but are looking to reschedule as soon as September.
In a joint statement posted on their My Space, Shaant, Tom, Fred and Jeff state their disappointment and "surprise" at the situation:
"It has been a dream of ours to someday travel to Japan on a vacation, let alone to play the music we work so hard to create. Unfortunately we as a band have run into some internal issues with the people that surround us.
"Often times it is better to be safe and be patient for the greater good of the situation. This is one of those times. We are all currently working very hard to make this whole situation right again.
"Our deepest apologies go out to all of you have believed in us as a band and those who were planning on attending our debut in Japan. We promise to make it up to each and everyone of you. We are going to make it worth the wait, there is no doubt about that."
