Since the group's formation in 1988, the pioneering rap quartet Cypress Hill have come a long way from the streets of South Gate, CA. Over the course of its 20-year history, Cypress Hill has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, including over 11 million in the US alone- all the while breaking down the musical and cultural barriers between hip-hop, alternative, metal, rock, reggae, ska and Latin music.
