Famously elusive duo Daft Punk are preparing to be the subject of a TV documentary, which will be released next year.
The French DJs, who are rarely seen without their masks, will be the subject of a one-hour film made by BBC Worldwide Production France.
The film will chart the rise and artistry of Thomas Bangalter and Gay-Manuel de Homem-Christo over the twenty years of their career.
Daft Punk have sold over 12 million albums worldwide and have won six Grammy awards over their career. Their 2013 single 'Get Lucky' sold 9.3 million copies.
Speaking of the documentary, co-producer Jean-Louis Blot said, "We are proud to announce our first commission with Canal Plus Group on such an original and creative film. BBC Worldwide France stands as a major French producer of documentaries with stunning production values and universal appeal."
Random Access Memories, Daft Punk's first album in eight years, was released in 2013.
