On Tuesday's "Dancing With the Stars," it came down to the commentator and the Kardashian.
Low scorer Nancy Grace was the one booted, just one week shy of making it into the semifinals. But the HLN host seemed to take it all in stride.
"I am so proud, but I really cannot take the credit," she said, standing next to partner Tristan MacManus. "It's been all Tristan from the get-go, and the whole crew at 'Dancing With the Stars.' "
MacManus, a newbie on the show this season, thanked fans of the show for embracing him as the new professional.
"We've had a blast," he said. "We'd like to thank everyone. Thanks for being very welcoming to me. We've really, really had a fun time and all the support that we get from you all, that really pushes us to do it. From the start, we said to each other, 'It's not about being the best, it's about doing the best,' and I think that's what we did."
Grace said she was proud to make it as far as she had in the competition. On Monday night's show, she tangoed and, for her instant dance, did the jive; the judges weren't all that impressed. They told her she got lost in the choreography but that they loved the chemistry between her and MacManus. They ended up with a total of 44 out of 60.
Despite the low score, Grace was pleased with her "DWTS" experience.
"Not only did I meet a lot of goals, I also became friends with not only the other stars, but with the dancers as well," she said. "I also want to thank the viewers who've stuck by me since way back when."
