Danny Brown working with The Avalanches: 'it will change the world'

Danny Brown has been working with The Avalanches, and claims it's going to "change the world."

Speaking to radio station Triple J at Australia's Splendor In The Grass festival, Brown revealed that he has done two tracks with the band.

"I did one song with them a while ago and it was cool," he told the station, adding: "They felt like it was ok and I felt like it was ok. But then we actually got in the studio and made a record and I swear the record we made is incredible. 'Frank Sinatra' was the first one we did.

"That was cool, but the one we did after that... I swear, if we put that out, it'll change the world. I heard it that first night and that was the only time I heard it. I wanna hear it again!"

The rapper also expressed a wish to work with Alt-J in the future: "I don't wanna do anything predictable. I just listen to everything. I wanna do something with Alt-J."

Australian band The Avalanches have released very little material since their 2001 album Since I Left You, despite writing on MySpace (remember that?) in 2008 that they'd finished their new album.
