David Bowie has had to cancel two shows from his current 'A Reality' tour because of a shoulder injury.
In a message at davidbowie.com it says "Due to continued discomfort caused by a trapped nerve in his shoulder and under ongoing doctor's orders, David Bowie will not now be performing in Vienna and Salzburg this coming Tuesday and Wednesday. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase".
Bowie was performing at the Hurricane Festival in Prague on Friday when pain from the trapped nerve caused him discomfort. He was taken to hospital after the show.
"Thank you all for your messages of support on the BowieNet message boards and for understanding the importance of David's complete recovery before he returns to the concert stage" the statement continued.
He was 9 songs into the set when he had to take a 10 minute break.
