David Bowie has revealed his plans for Record Store Day 2014, and he will be re-releasing two classic tracks on 7inch vinyl for this year's event.
The music legend will re-release 'Rock'n'Roll Suicide' in the UK, to mark the track's 40th anniversary, while American fans will be able to buy a reissue of '1984'. Both will be available on highly collectable 7" picture discs. See 'Rock'n'Roll Suicide' above, and '1984' below.
'Rock'n'Roll Suicide' will come with a recording of Bowie retiring Ziggy Stardust during a 1973 performance at the Hammersmith Odeon, while '1984' will be backed by a live performance of the track, recorded on the Dick Cavett show.
Record Store Day takes place on 19 April, 2014. Other artists to confirm their vinyl plans include LCD Soundsystem and The Flaming Lips.
