Davy Jones Florida funeral to be private affair

Davy Jones will be laid to rest after a private funeral near his Florida home; however, those who would like to pay their respects will have an opportunity in the future at public memorials in New York and England.

The date of his funeral is not known, only what was sent to the media on Friday by his spokesman Helen Kensick who said it "will be held shortly in Florida."

Kensick statement also included details of Jones' final days. "Jones died after spending a happy family weekend with his wife, Jessica Pacheco, and her family riding horses. There was no sign of illness or of anything being wrong. He died of a massive heart attack while back at the stables with his horses."

The dates for the two public memorials have also not been set.
