Overview
Death Cab for Cutie release their new single, 'Cath' on July 21 through Atlantic Records. 'Cath' is the second single to be taken from Death Cab for Cutie's stunning sixth album Narrow Stairs.
Produced by the band's own Chris Walla (who has produced for The Decemberists and Tegan & Sara), Narrow Stairs is shaping up as Death Cab's most-praised work to date.
As well as UK performances in July this year, Death Cab will be playing headline dates around the world, plus a number of festivals - including Japan's annual Summer Sonic Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee, Spain's Benicassim Festival, and the UK's Latitude Festival.
Formed at Bellingham University, Death Cab has received consistent acclaim from critics and fans alike in their ten-year history. In 1995, the band received a Grammy nomination for the 2005 million selling album, Plans.
