Demi Lovato has teased fans about an exciting new collaboration with R&B star Miguel.
The Heart Attack singer released her fifth studio album, Confident, in October (15), and she has already returned to the studio to work on new material, and on Tuesday (12Apr16), Demi took to Twitter.com to reveal she has teamed up with Grammy Award winner Miguel, and she cannot wait to share the new tune in the near future.
"Wrote a song with @Miguel today," she tweeted. "I'm so excited to hear it with the track!!! Miguel, you are the (s**t)!!"
The Adorn hitmaker was equally pleased with the studio session, responding, "@ddlovato such a great wave".
It's not clear when Demi's devotees will be treated to new music, but she also hinted at another big collaboration on Saturday (09Apr16).
"Recorded something in the studio today with someone so talented and I'm so excited for y'all to hear it," she posted over the weekend. "I think YALL are gonna love it (sic)".
Demi is currently gearing up to hit the road with close pal Nick Jonas for a joint headlining tour this summer (16). The Future Now trek will begin in Florida on 24 June (16) and end at the fabled Los Angeles Forum in mid-September (16).
The two former Disney stars have a shared history - they co-starred in the TV movie Camp Rock, alongside Demi's ex-boyfriend and Nick's brother Joe, while Demi was also a supporting act on the Jonas Brothers' 2009 tour.
They have since also gone into business together, launching their own record label, Safehouse Records, last year (15).
