The 15-year-old is set to perform one of Winehouse's tracks as a tribute to the late star at the awards ceremony in Glasgow on October 5.
She said to UK newspaper Daily Record: 'It will be daunting, definitely. I'm not going to say I won't be scared. But once I do it and get the performance out of the way, I will be fine.'
She added: 'I'm not asking for people to think my performance at the MOBO awards is amazing, though I hope they enjoy it. I am not really there to be the highlight of the show.
'I am doing it for Amy because she did a lot for me and I wouldn't be where I am today without her. It is a thank you to her really.'
